Never Forgeting #34 Nick Adenhart 1986-2009

Today Marks the 3 Year Anniversary of the tragic night that took Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart and Henry Pearson away from their friends and family.  

Although brought to justice, the malicious drunk driver's prison sentence does little to help with the heart ache of those who were lost. I have written before that I only ever saw Nick pitch once. I didn't follow his minor league career, but you could tell that night, he had great stuff and it is a shame we never got to see him throw again. Obviously the losses for the families of Adenhart, Stewart, and Pearson were far more affected than I will ever be.

I will never forget Nick. I will never drink and drive. I will never hurt someone the way those families were hurt.
